I'm working in the technical department (Lighting, set design, sound mixing...) - oh that reminds me, does anyone know what flying is? It said on my sheet that I am required to do some 'flying'....It obviously doesn't mean flying (or at least i think it doesn't) so I am, can we say, intruiged...
Anyway, as I am working with heavy objects, i have to wear steel toe cap boots *guh*. I picked them up from school the other day and they are too big and really chunky. One will be wearing really big socks on that day, one thinks. Tey don't actually look that bad with my jeans - JEANS!!!! I don't know if I'm supposed to wear them or not!!! It said on the sheet that I've got to wear washable casual clothes, but some firms are picky about wearing jeans... I did ring, but the theatre manager AND my supervisor are both on holiday....so that was a complete failure.
Anyway, I am really excited, because on the first day I'll be helping to set up a gig for an old rock band, 'The Shadows'. I'll get to meet them too! I have no idea who they are or anything, but my Mum said they used to be really famous.
So...that will be my claim to fame - meeting old wrinkly rockers on zimmer frames.
Heh.
Anyway...I am extremely tired...so I think I'd better go to bed.
